I’m a beginner, what’s the best keyboard for me to start with?
We recommend starting with a 60% layout: K:04, Phenom
You have different switches and keycaps to choose from. Which ones should I choose?
- For curved keyboards in the Phenom series: Outemu Silent Tom switches (tactile, silent) and XDA keycaps
- For the K:04 series: Gateron Brown KS-33 LP 3.0 switches (tactile, low-profile) and low-profile keycaps
I need a low profile keyboard, do you have one?
The K:04 series uses low-profile switches and keycaps
Which switches and keycaps are suitable for your keyboards if I want to purchase them elsewhere?
Our keyboards are compatible with any switches that have MX pins/base. Accordingly, keycaps must also have an MX mount
When choosing switches, there are 5 pin or 3 pin options, which should I choose?
Both versions will fit. 5-pin switches have two additional plastic pins for better mounting in the PCB. For our keyboards, this does not make much difference because the switches are mounted in the case, not in the PCB
How do I configure my keyboard? How do I remap keys?
Use the Entropy configurator to remap keys and configure your keyboard. Setup instructions are available in the documentation
How can I keep symbols in the same place regardless of the keyboard layout?
Use Universal Symbols in the Entropy configurator
Can you make me a custom keyboard in a different color, different shape, etc?
